Creating children's patterns and floral designs for fabrics, homeware, fashion, publishers, and even furniture, has been my passion as well as my job for over thirty years. I've been very lucky to work with some of the best publishers of children's books, and lots of lovely children's clothing companies and charities.

I'm lucky to live in North Yorkshire on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, I think most of my life is spent either on the moors or in the ocean, usually with a note book and camera in one hand, and a paddle or rucksack in the other. I love the inspiration that this beautiful area gives me, as well as the wellbeing effect it has. Much of my work has been illustrating nature, from local woodland for the Woodland Trust, to wild flower publications, it's a theme i'm really at home with.
